Supporting Road Safety Beyond the Test

At Alltrain, we’ve always believed that learning to drive safely is about more than just passing a test. It’s about judgement, awareness, and understanding the real-world risks young drivers face every day.

That’s why we support the work of Road Safety Education (RSE), a not-for-profit organisation delivering the RYDA programme across New Zealand. RYDA is designed to help young people think differently about road safety, focusing on attitudes, behaviour, and decision-making long before bad habits set in.

Through interactive workshops and evidence-based learning, RSE and RYDA give students the tools to better understand risk, responsibility, and the consequences of everyday driving choices. It’s practical, engaging, and aligned with how young people actually learn.

While our learner driver training focuses on building confident, capable drivers behind the wheel, we see road safety education as a vital part of the bigger picture. Supporting organisations like RSE helps reinforce the same message we give our learners every day: safe driving is a mindset, not just a skill.
