Alltrain Expands into Horowhenua
After years of working closely with Horowhenua businesses from its Palmerston North base, Alltrain has taken the next step by establishing a permanent presence in Levin.
Now operating from Oxford Street, with a dedicated training centre opening in February, the move reflects both confidence in the district’s growth and Alltrain’s long-standing commitment to supporting local industry with practical, high-quality training.
“We’ve been working with Horowhenua businesses for some time,” says director Maria Bayley. “Either clients came to us in Palmerston North, or we travelled to them to deliver training on site. Establishing a base in Levin is a natural progression. It’s another branch for us, and a district where we already have strong relationships.”
Responding to growth and opportunity
With new roads, infrastructure investment, and continued business growth across the region, demand for skilled operators and responsive training providers is increasing. Maria saw a clear opportunity for Alltrain to support this momentum.
“We see a gap in the market,” she explains. “What sets us apart is how flexible we are. Our courses run around our clients’ needs, not the other way around. Whether it’s tailored packages, large groups, or accelerated programmes, we design training that works in the real world.”
The new Levin presence allows Alltrain to respond more quickly to Horowhenua-based clients, strengthening existing partnerships and supporting the region’s growing workforce.
