+ Do you register Unit Standards?

Yes, we do!
Except for OSH Forklift (US10851) – However, registration of these 7 credits can be done on request for an additional $56+gst.

+ Will you come to our Company's site?

Of course, we will!
All of our courses can be run on-site, and we have trainers located from Auckland to Wellington to accommodate. On-site training requires an appropriate space to train and relevant equipment supplied for practical testing.

  • NB: Additional costs may apply for travel & disbursements.

+ Does our equipment have to be certified?

Yes, it does!
For us to train staff correctly and safely the equipment used must be in good working condition and have current certification, WOF and Rego. This applies to any lifting equipment, Cranes etc. and Forklifts that are to be driven on the road.

+ What locations do you travel to?

We train and travel across most of New Zealand, North & South Islands!
Although we are based in the Manawatu, we have specialised and experienced trainers throughout New Zealand.

+ Do you train individuals as well as Companies?

Yes, we do!
We do our very best to accommodate individuals as well as Company groups.

Crane related Units Standards:

  • 26505 – Use Mini Crawler Crane without riggers to lift and place loads
  • 3790 – Operate a cab-controlled crane to lift and place loads
  • 25737 – Prepare to use and hook up a crane with a crane lifted work platform
  • 26505 – Use Mini Crawler Crane without riggers to lift and place loads
  • 3788 – Demonstrate Knowledge of crane types and safe practices in a crane industry
  • 3787 – Demonstrate knowledge and regulatory requirements related to cranes

Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) Unit Standards:

  • 23966 – Describe types of elevating work platforms and legal requirements
  • 23960 – Access worksite and prepare and use a scissor lift
  • 23961 - Access worksite and prepare and use a truck-mounted boom lift
  • 23962 – Access worksite and prepare and use a self-propelled boom lift
  • 23963 - Access worksite and prepare and use a trailer-mounted boom lift
  • 23964 - Access worksite and prepare and use a vertical lift

Telehandler Unit Standard:

  • 23267 – Operate a telehandler with attachments

Health and Safety Unit Standards:

  • 17600 – Explain safe work practices
  • 19522 – Undertake job safety analysis
  • 30264 – describe duties, rights, representation and the regulator in terms of NZ Health and Safety
  • 30266 – Demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety culture and practices
  • 17593 – Apply safe work practices in the workplace
  • 25043 – lockout and reinstate machinery in the workplace
  • 497 – Demonstrate knowledge of workplace
